WHO WE ARE
I started NM Design Studio because I kept seeing the same problem. A brand gets a beautiful new identity. An interior designer creates a stunning space. A web agency builds a sleek website. And yet, when you walk in the door and look around, something doesn’t quite add up. The parts are good. The whole isn’t working.

That misalignment has a cost. Guests feel it, even if they can’t name it. It erodes trust, dilutes a premium positioning, and makes it harder to charge what you’re worth.
So we do it differently. NM Design Studio is a founder-led creative practice that works across branding, interior design, and digital - not as separate services, but as one joined-up process. We start with the story your business needs to tell, then we make sure every touchpoint - visual, spatial, digital - tells it.
We work with boutique hospitality, property and lifestyle brands, mostly across Scotland and the UK, with a particular focus on founders and operators who are opening something new, repositioning something existing, or building something they genuinely want to be proud of.
You work directly with me, Nicola, throughout. No account managers. No handoffs. Just a close creative partnership and someone who cares as much about your business as you do.

At its core, it’s about alignment. Bringing together every part of how your business is experienced, so it feels like one complete story.
Within the Residency, there are two routes.
One is a 10–16 week immersive partnership - a deeper process where we step inside your business and realign every touchpoint.
The other is a more focused engagement, offering clarity and direction where strong foundations already exist.
Different in depth, but shared in intent - to create a brand that feels cohesive, confident, and entirely your own.
